Ray Pouliot has been the Pastor of Riverside Christian Church since it began in 1991.

He was born and raised in Manchester, NH where he graduated from Trinity High School (1973) and attend the University of NH for business management.  He met and married Carol (Kos) in 1975.  They have four grown children, Jason, Amy, Joe, and Kristen, and two  grandchildren, Avery Sullivan and Micah Pouliot.  Carol and Ray were both immersed into Christ on October 31, 1982.

Ray worked in Merrimack from 1979-1985, first in food service at Anheuser-Busch, then in facilities management at Unitrode Integrated Circuits (later Texas Instruments).   In 1985 Ray felt the strong call of God upon his heart to study for vocational ministry.  The family moved to Lincoln Illinois where Ray graduated (Magna Cum Laude) from Lincoln Christian College with a B.A. degree in Christian Ministries, and from Lincoln Christian Seminary with a masters degree in Theology & Philosophy.  He was recognized by both the Gamma Alpha Chi and Delta Epsilon Chi honor societies.

The Pouliot family then moved back to Merrimack and began the work of starting a new church – Riverside Christian Church.  Ray is also a founding member of the American Association of Christian Counselors; serves on the Board of Directors of Hisportic Christian Mission; and is a past President of the Eastern Christian Convention.
